Life can be challenging at times. We can all feel isolated or down, especially when facing difficult situations involving changes in family, work, personal relationships, or life in general.
Sometimes it can make a day a little brighter when you get a call from someone who cares and genuinely wants to know how you're doing.
A Friendly Voice to Give You a Boost...
Our Reassurance program is a free and confidential service for residents of Peel between 18 and 55 years of age. Completely client driven, we call out to provide listening and emotional support to individuals who are isolated, experiencing grief or loss, or simply having difficulty coping.
The focus is on assuring a client’s daily well-being and meeting their needs in terms of comfort in speaking to someone of a particular gender, ethnicity, language group and/or days and times of the week.
We connect with you by telephone to:
- Provide listening and emotional support
- Remind you about medication
- Direct you to other helpful community resources and information
- Inform you about upcoming community and social events in the region of Peel
- Provide crisis and suicide intervention support
